Carol Gray is the President, The Gray Center for Social Learning and Understanding,a non-profit organization serving people with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and those working on their behalf. In 1991, Carol developed Social Stories™, a strategy used worldwide with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). She is widely published on topics related to the education and welfare of people with ASD, addressing challenging issues: How to teach social understanding and social skills; bullying; death and dying; loss and learning; and categorization and generalization. Carol is the recipient of the Barbara Lipinski Award for her international contribution to the education and welfare of people with ASD.
